As we (hopefully) reach phase 4 tomorrow IYSA released their guidelines for return to play! Field space is good at Berens Turf for next week...so....we're going to try and scrimmage the 14s and/or the premier team:
Monday 6/29 9 am-1015/30ish if you're available.
I know some are out of town but anyone that can make it we will try to play, even if it's 9v9.
I already have everyone's waivers so we are good. We will limit interaction outside of game action but if you do not feel comfortable participating that is absolutely understandable and very appropriate.
Here are the guidelines for IYSA Phase 4. Our match on Monday will be a little more restrictive as a test run.
Here are the key elements in this test run:
1. You still need to take temperatures before the game. Anyone sick or showing symptoms will not be permitted to play.
2. No parents, sorry. We don't have a good method to clean the bleachers and we want to try and limit the number of people in that area. Please drop them off and feel free to say hello but we're trying to social distance still.
3. We will keep a distance from each other as much as possible before and after games, and while players are not playing during the game.
No promises, but Karsten and I will try to videotape the scrimmage with the new smart camera TESC got during the winter and then send out for your viewing pleasure!
Please let me know by the end of today if you are available to play!
Lastly, this will be my last run out with the girls. I’m passing the torch to Karsten as he takes over the team. This group of girls will always have a special place in my heart, I will miss working with them dearly. They’ve all made such good progress, we’ve had some competitive games and tournaments, and we had a ton of fun. I’ll still be around town and the fields but if there’s ever anything that you or your daughter need, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks so much.
